The Handlesblatt publishing house building is in keeping with the original buildings along Eschersheimer Landstrasse. Its design calls for five stories plus two intermediate levels and underground parking. It is divided up into three stone houses, of which to date two have been completed. The two buildings are connected by means of glass sections affording views of and access to the inside of the block and allowing occupants and visitors to experience the greenery of the park. The work areas, which presuppose peace and quiet, are located on the inside of the block. The fact that the side-rooms face onto the street determines the shape of the imposing gable that lends the building its rhythmic quality.
