Theodor-Heuss-Allee, Frankfurt/Main

The office building is located at the heart of the “City-West“ district, which owes its existence to a municipal planning report by Oswald Mathias Ungers dating from 1985. The building’s striking architecture attempts to help lend identity to the original concept. It fits in with the surrounding buildings and makes up for their neutrality with its unambiguousness. The building’s H-shaped ground plan including, to the south, a fully glazed seven-story hall, allows for four possible office layouts and for usage as combination, group or open-plan offices with rooms full of light. The stone façades made of “verde fontain” natural green stone with flush windows and an overhanging flying roof covering loft superstructures lend the building its own distinctive appearance.
